Chicago Foundation for Women will celebrate Chicago-area leaders for their dedication to increasing resources and opportunities for women and girls in the Chicago area in Spring 2023.
How to Submit Nominations
Nominations must be submitted online by Wednesday, November 30, 2022. In order to nominate an individual please complete the online nomination form and include all required supporting documents.
Eligibility
Eligible nominees are individuals and corporations committed to ensuring women, girls, trans, and gender nonbinary individuals have what they need to thrive in Chicago. Honorees will be exemplary trailblazers in, but not limited to: healthcare and health care access, economic security and/or empowerment, ending gender-based violence, community organizing, and related fields who have contributed to notable improvements in the lives of Chicago-area women and girls.
Nominees can be current or emerging leaders of any age and come from any field, including but not limited to the arts, business, community organizing, education, faith-based work, journalism, law, medicine, philanthropy, and public or community service.
We are accepting nominations of individuals and corporations who reflect the core principles of Chicago Foundation for Women: equality, empowerment, diversity, collaboration, and integrity. The Impact Awards will include the following awards:
The Founders Award (1 award): Honoring a leader who has been working and advocating for women and girls for 30 years or more.
The Vanguard Award (1 award): Honoring a leader younger than 30 years of age, whose work is having a significant impact on women and girls, and who shows great promise for the future.
The Beacon Award (1 award): Honoring a leader whose published work has highlighted the issues facing women and girls in the Chicago region and enabled their voices to be heard.
Impact Awards (3 awards): Honoring three leaders working in one of CFW’s three issues areas to improve the lives of women and girls: expanding economic security, ensuring freedom from violence, and enhancing access to health services and information.
The Outstanding Corporate Citizen Impact Award (1 award): Honoring a corporate leader for its commitment to building a stronger, more equitable Chicago through its internal and external support of women and girls.
