For Grantees

Reporting

As part of CFW’s transition to using an online grant portal, we are revising the process for submitted mid-year, year-end and final reports for all grant awards. Grantees will now find the reporting form for their grant award within the grant portal. The reporting form is assigned by CFW and should be reviewed, completed and submitted through the portal. Going forward grant reports will only be accepted through the grant portal.

Capacity Building Opportunities

*Eligible organizations need to have received funding within the last three fiscal years.

Advocacy Academy
Advocacy Academy will train a cohort of grantee staff in core advocacy skills, strengthening the capacity of individual organizations and setting the stage for new and stronger coalitions among grantees with shared goals. The Advocacy Academy cohort will agree to active participation in workshops and networking throughout the year on such topics as coalition building, social media, writing for impact and city/county budget processes. Advocacy Academy is created for mid-level staff members. It requires a seven month time commitment as well as requirements to complete learning opportunities through the duration of the program.

Polk Bros. Capacity Building Scholarship
The scholarships are intended to support the professional development of staff in our grantee organizations as well as to provide technical assistance. Grantees can apply for this opportunity in January.

Core Concepts’ Coaching
CFW grantees have the opportunity to receive individualized coaching around one of four skills: board development, financial management, communications or fundraising. Grantees apply for this opportunity and are matched with a subject matter professional to work with the entire organization on the skill. The end result will manifest in better processes and outcomes for the entire organization. Grantees will also share their learning with the larger CFW grantee community.
