Who is a SHEro? A SHEro is an advocate for women, girls, trans and gender non-binary people. Whether they are working full-time out of the home while handling childcare in home, organizing in their community, or working on the frontlines, SHEros are doing the ordinary and the extraordinary to make sure that they, their families and their communities are surviving and thriving.
Will you join us? With every donation made, name one of your SHEros to be celebrated on the YWGC’s social platforms. You'll be asked to submit the name and a few lines about what makes your SHEro special, along with an opportunity to share 1-2 photos that we can share on our social channels.
Who is YWGC? Central to YWGC’s mission is creating social change and supporting Chicago’s young women and girls, trans and gender non-binary young people through philanthropic efforts. Funds raised during the SHEro campaign will be invested into local organizations when we award grants in June. Previous grantees include Brave Space Alliance, Global Girls, and Gyrls in the HOOD Foundation.
